Michael P. Ibe, President
Michael Ibe’s primary responsibilities focus on the commercial office and industrial markets. His aggressive approach to leasing and selling projects have earned Western Devcon, Inc., the strong reputation of being an innovative market force. In addition, Michael Ibe is primarily responsible for all phases of acquisition and development in each endeavor of the company. Furthermore, Michael has orchestrated unique equity partnerships between clients and tenants, along with creative buyouts from equity partners. His experience related to construction dates back to 1977 when he was directly involved in many major high-density condominium projects and manufacturing facilities. He currently is the corporate qualifier for the company and interfaces with all construction activity.
Mark W. Bauer, Vice President, Finance
Mark specializes in real estate organizational infrastructure and finance. He is a California certified public accountant and has an outstanding record of performance in significantly increasing the valuation of commercial real estate projects in multiple markets. He is an expert in debt and equity financing involving all phases of real estate from feasibility analyses, to day to day operations, financial reporting, and administration of partnership entities. Mark’s extensive hands on experience in the development, construction, finance, acquisition/disposition and management of residential and commercial properties are the perfect compliment to Western Devcon’s portfolio management strategy.
Prior to joining Western Devcon, Inc. in 2011, Mark was Vice President of BRIO Investment Group, a privately held real estate firm where directed all real estate investment activitiese.
Daniel J. Reid, Vice President, Project Manager
With over twenty years experience in the real estate development and construction field, Dan was previously Vice President of the Koll Company and California Structures, and Area Manager for Kaiser Development Company. He was directly responsible for the development, construction and management of over five million square feet of industrial, office and retail projects and over two thousand acres of business park land. His experience includes day to day construction management activities, negotiating building and development entitlements with various governmental agencies, owner’s representative overseeing of a 460,000 square foot redevelopment project and development of major industrial manufacturing plants.
Joseph Beauchamp, Vice President
Mr. Beauchamp’s primary focus is the procurement and negotiation of acquisition opportunities and build-to-suit developments. This entails negotiation and preparation of lease documents, land purchase contracts, construction costs, and financing terms. His main objective is to identify properties and build-to-suit opportunities that offer the opportunity to create or enhance value for Western Devcon, Inc.
Prior to joining Western Devcon, Inc. in 1994, Mr. Beauchamp was Vice President of the Norton Hunter Group, a privately held real estate firm. Mr. Beauchamp managed the San Diego office that accounted for $50,000,000 in sales and leasing.
